Geraldine Riley, Principal Owner
With "technology and client-focus" being a constant in her professional life, Geraldine is passionate about cyber protecting small businesses and homes. Often, small business cyber security can be fitted incompletely by IT departments, receiving free, outdated, or low-cost cybersecurity packages. This is usually because some IT companies can lack the manpower, financial stability, or knowledge to implement a true “defense in depth” and layering approach that meets the high cybersecurity standards required today. Having much respect for IT companies, Cyber Safe Security can step into their arena and partner with them and their clients to provide stellar, innovative and cutting-edge cyber security.
Geraldine holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) from Averett University and has earned her CompTIA Security+ Cyber Security Certification. Additionally, she has received five academic Network Engineering Certificates from Valencia College (CAE) in Linux Server Administration, Cloud Security, Network Support, Digital Forensics, and Cyber Security. She has competed in cyber competitions, where she had the opportunity to challenge her knowledge in multiple cyber areas and achieve top 10% rankings with her team nationally, as well as high-status in individual competitions. These competitions covered categories such as open-source intelligence, log analysis, cryptography, network traffic analysis, scanning, forensics, password cracking, enumeration and exploitation, and web application security. Geraldine continues to stay informed in cybersecurity at local, national, and international forums, earning her CEUs to keep her Security+ certification active.
While Geraldine grew up in the tri-state NJ area, she lived in No. Virginia for many years where she met her husband, Mike. They live in "The City Beautiful", Orlando, Florida and have 3 children.
